Mailbox

You will fint your mailbox by the laundry room downstairs in house 21.

All our tenants at Stedjeåsen have access to a shared storage room within their floor.

All our rooms at Stedjeåsen come furnished with a wardrobe, desk, and chair. Beyond that, you're free to furnish the space to your liking.

The shared kitchen is equipped with appliances, kitchen cabinets/drawers, and a dining table with chairs. The shared living room is furnished with a sofa, chairs, and a coffee table

NOTE: The rooms are not furnished with a bed unless other arrangements are made. If you are applying through HVL exchange, a bed is already arranged for you.

Residual waste, organic waste (food waste), plastic, cardboard/paper, and glass and metal packaging can be disposed of in the bins located outside house 21. Electrical waste, batteries, etc., can be dropped off at any location that sells similar items

Bicycle

Bicycle parking is covered and located in the bike storage next to the laundry room in house 21.

Remember to label your bike with a bicycle sticker. You can get the sticker for free at our administration office on campus.

Car

In Stedjeåsen, we have designated parking spaces for our residents. For long-term parking, you can purchase a parking permit valid for the academic year (Aug-Jul).

For short-term parking needs (up to 10 days), a complimentary guest permit is available. Both permits can be obtained at our administration office on campus.

All our accommodations have a fixed monthly fee for electricity, which includes your calculated individual usage, your share of the common area electricity consumption, hot water, etc. Prices may be adjusted based on consumption/market prices, but any changes will always be communicated well in advance.

Electricity charges are invoiced along with the rent at the beginning of each month.

As a tenant, you have free access to the wireless network via Eduroam. This will be the same username provided by HVL for campus use. If you already have an Eduroam account, you'll access the network with that.

Haven't received your HVL login yet? You can use the HVL guest network in the meantime, named HVLguest.

Facing issues connecting devices like AppleTV or Playstation? To connect certain devices to the network, we need to pre-approve the device's MAC address. You can submit this as a request to the janitor via 'My Page' on bo.sammen.no, and it will be sent for approval.
