Mailbox The mail boxes can be found at the entrance.

We have a fixed price for electricity, which includes both your own consumption and everything that is shared. You will receive the electricity bill together with the rent from Sammen.

The homes in Fridalen contain wardrobes, but are otherwise unfurnished.

Garbage is thrown on the back of the building. Cardboard and paper can be found on the upper side of the building.

You can wash clothes at our laundry for an additional cost. The laundry can be found in the basement.

You use the app "appWash" to pay, choose a machine, select a washing program and report errors.

Car Unfortunately, we do not have parking at Fridalen.

Bicycle At the back of the building and at the entrance to Schweigårdsvei, you will find the bicycle parking. Bicycles must be marked with a valid sticker which can be collected from your service centre. The sticker is valid for one year at a time and must be renewed every year, this is to have control over which bicycles are left behind and which bicycles are in use. Unmarked bikes will be removed.

Everyone has access to a storage room marked with a room number for storing equipment downstairs. You share a storage with those you share kitchen with. The lock on the storage opens with the room key.

Internet is free in all our residences. You have your own Telia router and your own network, and there is also free wireless internet in several of our common areas.

👉You must take a digital fire safety course before you can access the internet.

The common room for all residents can be found in the basement by the laundry. The door is opened with the house key.

Roof terrace The residents have access to a small roof terrace on the 4th floor. Go out through the stair case at the end of the building towards the light rail.

Opening hours for the common room:

Sunday to Thursday: 8.00 - 23.00

Friday and Saturday: 8.00 - 00.00

TU (the tenants union) works to ensure that the students have as much fun as possible while living at Fridalen. They organize gatherings where everyone who lives there is welcome to participate.

Unfortunately, there is no TU at Fridalen at the moment. Contact bolig@sammen.no if you want to start a new one.
