Saman Sogndal kindergarten

Location

We have a pleasant outdoor space equipped with swings, sandboxes, and play structures. Additionally, we make active use of the surrounding forest as a playground. For parents who are driving, we offer designated parking spaces, ensuring ease during drop-offs and pickups.

Divisions

Our kindergarten is split into two sections. 'Sol' is our toddler section, while 'Måne' caters to the older children. Our youngest children sleep securely in specialized strollers within our premises, and we ensure a dedicated staff member is present to oversee them while they nap.

Building Resilience in Children and Youth

An increasing number of children and young people are struggling mentally. Growing up in today's society, with the intense influence of social media and societal pressures, is challenging. The work to bolster resilience in children, enabling them to resist external pressures, remain self-assured, and make independent decisions, must begin as early as the childcare years. At Saman Sogndal, children are greeted by adults who visibly support, reassure, and recognize them. We assist children in emotion regulation, provide solace during times of grief and disappointment, and help them play and overcome challenges.

Meals in the kindergarten

Our kindergarten serves two fruit meals daily and hot meals every Friday. On other days, children bring their own packed meals. We provide milk and drinks with all meals.

Parents contribute 190 kr towards meal expenses each month.
