How to deal with the Corona virus?
Updated 10.03.2020
We encourage everyone to continue living your lives as before, only with a better hygiene. This is especially important if you live somewhere where you share a kitchen and/or bathroom with others.
Have you been traveling?
Everyone who has been in areas with widespread infection should stay home for 14 days after returning, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not. This includes not attending school or work, avoiding travel, fitness center, not taking public transport, and avoiding other places where one can easily get close to others.
Contact bolig@sammen.no, in addition to a doctor, if you:
- Have been in an area of persistent spread of the coronavirus for the last 14 days.
- Have had close contact with a person who has been confirmed sick with the coronavirus within the last 14 days.
What does Sammen do?
We have enhanced the cleaning of our common areas and encourage everyone to good hand hygiene and the use of antibac dispensers we have hung up.
We monitor the situation closely, follow the recommendations we receive from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health and are ready to take the necessary measures if needed.
What do you do if you suspect you are sick with that coronavirus?
- If you think you may be infected, call your GP. If you cannot get hold of your GP, call the medical emergency number 116 117.
- Bergen Municipality has an information phone about the corona virus you can contact on (+47) 55 56 77 00.
I'm going to travel, what do I do?
