Expenses for transportation

Sammen reimburses 50 % of your expenses providing injury or illness prevent you from using public transportation.

If an injury prevents you from getting from home and to your place of study by public transport, you may apply for financial support for transportation to attend lectures or exams.

Approved expenses:

Only taxi receipts with your home address and the address of your place of study will be approved for reimbursement.
Financial support covers one trip and return per day only.
Financial support does not cover the weekend or holidays where there is no tuition.
Financial support covers transportation support in Norway only.
The health fund does not cover public services or payments you may claim from insurance companies or others.

Patient’s charge:

The patient’s charge is estimated to 50 % of the approved expenses.
